I knew that I would learn more by being in a classroom than studying on my own. I took this course so that I could meet other local HR professionals and hear their feedback on the changes occurring in the field. Aside from studying for the exam, I learned so much just by being in that classroom and listening to the different experiences and difficulties that other professionals had been through.
The many resources offered through SHRM Learning System were very helpful when studying for my exam. There are options for all types of learners. The quizzes through each section were extremely helpful to me. I could study each section and then test my knowledge. I also liked bouncing back and forth between CP and SCP material. I did learn material from the System that I am able to apply to my job.
