What does it mean to be a SHRM Learning System Champion?
The SHRM Learning System Champion status is a recognition of your chapter’s hard work to elevate the HR profession through professional development and HR knowledge among members, gained from SHRM certification. SHRM created this prestigious distinction in support of its premier educational product. This status also helps to promote the HR profession at the local level by using the SHRM Learning System® for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
If your chapter becomes a SHRM Learning System Champion, you will earn the following:
- Recognition at the November SHRM Volunteer Leaders’ Business Meeting
- SHRM Learning System Champion recognition tile ad to place on your chapter’s website
How to become a SHRM Learning System Champion?
Affiliates can either partner with a SHRM Education Partner to promote an instructor-led course that uses the SHRM Learning System and/or host and administer a facilitator-led SHRM Learning System study group.
Below is a list of ways to promote an Affiliate Study Group. Please complete at least three of the items below to qualify for recognition. We suggest implementing these at least four weeks prior to the study group/course commencement:
- Post course or study group notification on the affiliate’s website
- Place announcement in affiliate newsletter, if applicable
- Place the SHRM Learning System tile ad on the affiliate’s home page
- Announce the course or study group at an affiliate event
- Send an e-mail blast to members to promote the course or study group
- Post a message on LinkedIn or other social media group pages
- Promote course or study group at state HR conferences or regional meetings
